Sunday: Since I was in all black today I decided to lighten things up a bit with this floral headpiece/headband. This all black look could go a little gothic (which is not me) so I thought the floral headpiece would make the look more ethereal and boho. And a pop of bright pink on the lips doesn’t hurt either! I hope you enjoyed your weekend! God Bless!

Friday: An easy, simple outfit for a night out to attend a concert (Chrisette Michele, Jagged Edge and Raheem DeVaughn). I didn’t want to be too dressy so I opted for a pair of shorts that can easily be dressed up with heels, as I did, or dressed down with a pair of flat sandals. The top is quite old and doesn’t get any wear so I decided to pull it out tonight to wear with the shorts. And just these gladiator heels that you’ve seen in this post. I thought they would be good to wear with shorts again since I haven’t styled them with a dress or skirt yet. That’s going to be interesting being as though the straps come up pretty high on my legs which means the skirt/dress would need to hit at the right spot in order for the proportions to be right without looking too risque (for me). But we’ll see when that opportunity presents itself. Anyways, that’s all about the ‘fit. Hope you had a great weekend! God Bless!

Sunday: Finally decided to wear this tee that me and my sissy picked up when we went to the Natural Hair Expo back in the Fall. I knew it would make the trousers a bit more casual and relaxed. Also, I like how orange looks with the colors in these printed trousers. To make the orange pop more I added the orange glasses and these orange sandals. I’ve had these sandals for a very long time (like almost 10 years) but I believe this is only my 2nd time wearing them. The reason being (yes, I have a reason for once) they expose a whole lot of toe and make my feet feel naked. I know that sounds crazy but it’s the truth. So now I’m wondering why did I also purchase these same shoes in black, white and pink too? I don’t have an answer for that one. Anyways, one cannot always explain the madness that style/fashion causes sometimes. That’s just how it is! Later for now! God Bless!

Sunday: Today’s look another drop waist dress (one worn here in the last post). I love the hemline of this one. It’s flowy and feminine. I was also drawn to the bright yellow piping that contrast with the black and white. Also wearing another one of my wigs. This one I named Cleo, as in Cleopatra! These wigs definitely come in handy for those times when I don’t feel like dealing with my own hair. Anyways, that’s all for now! Have a great week! God Bless!
