Playing catch up with blog posts. Keep scrolling through for outfits that I’ve worn over the last few months but have gotten so busy (and lazy) about posting that you are just now seeing them. But if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see some of them and others.  This is actually a one-piece dress that gives the illusion of a 2-piece. Decided to dress it down with some grommet-ed slides. Gotta go cause I quite a few more outfits to post. God Bless!

P.s.: I doubt that I will remember the name brands/designers but I should know where I bought the piece from. If you really have to know the designer/brand let me know and I will check for you.

If you know anything about my style, you know that I have an affinity for loosely fitting/oversized clothing. So when I tried this dress on and it hung off me, that sealed the deal! Little did I know the brand is a Plus Size brand which makes this a Plus Size dress. I didn’t realize it because the tag read size Medium. I just thought it was supposed to fit oversized. Well, as you see, I didn’t care. I love the loose, hanging off, relaxed fit. Threw on these mirrored high-tops to because I wanted to wear a sneaker and I like how the silver pops. Sorry for my absence but I have quite a few posts to make up for it, so come back soon! God Bless!

Orange is the New Black

I am a fan of neutral colors, especially with a pop of color! Olive green is one of those colors that I believe looks great with almost any color. I styled this ordinary skirt and sweater look with the long-line vest to not only add a pop of color but to also add some visual interest with portions. My accessory of choice, a neck scarf. Definitely one of my favorite ways to accessory whether it’s worn around the neck, on the wrist or on my head. Pulled out these old suede and patent booties because I like how brown looks with the other colors. Hope you have a great weekend! God Bless!

Sweater: Thrifted-Men’s Department (initially was going to use it for my DIY Ugly Christmas Sweater but opted for the cardigan instead)

Skirt: J.O.A

Vest: Top Shop

Booties: Tory Burch

I literally dug out this old jumpsuit that I purchased like 10 yrs ago but never wore. I always come across it as I randomly romp through my closet on occasion but for no good reason I just stuff it right back on the top shelf. It’s material is reminiscent of the parachute pants of yesteryear (circa 1980s). It’s comfy enough to run around to do errands in and still be put-together. Also, the weather was perfect so I didn’t need to layer up to much. Thanks for keeping up with me and the blog this year. I hope I inspired you to have more fun with your fashion! Until 2016, God Bless!
