Sunday: Still trying to suck up the final days of this warm weather. I decided to break out these denim culottes that I purchased about 4 yrs ago. I wore them one time before way back then but that was it until today. They were a last minute decision (I already had another outfit ironed and ready to go), but when I seen that the temp. was already 65 degrees I made the last minute change. Since the culottes come up higher on the waist and stopped at the knee, I wanted to go with a shorter top to keep the proportions right. I could have also worn a top tucked in but this one would do for such a last minute decision (I had to get to church on time!). Hope you enjoyed the weekend! Until next time, God Bless!

Sunday: Trying to get the last wear out my warm weather clothing before the weather really changes (tomorrow night is the 1st day of Fall/Autumn). The tee I thought was interesting and quirky. I am not a fan of the Big Bang Theory tv show. Michelle and others rave about how funny it is but I just couldn’t get into it, the couple of times I tried watching. I’m gonna try to give it another chance since the new season starts tomorrow. Are any of you fans of the show? The inspiration for wearing this color nail polish came from watching E! Channel celebrating Joan Rivers. She was wearing a similar color in one of the highlights of the Fashion Police that they showed. She was soooo hilarious and I am going to miss her so much on the Fashion Police. Her jokes was ridiculous! Although I will always watch and be a fan of the show it just won’t be the same without her! They are in hiatus right now but will resume in January 2015. R.I.P. Joan! God Bless!

Sunday: Yeah I’m wearing white after Labor Day, again! And? I know that’s an old “rule” but like I always say, there’s no rules in fashion! Even though there’s no rules, keep this in mind. When wearing white after Labor Day (during the cooler months), always make sure that the fabric is appropriate. Meaning, you can wear white but just make sure it is a heavier fabric. Don’t wear white linen! It just looks so wrong! A heavier cotton, brocade, poly, twill, wool, denim, etc., will work better. Anyway, I saw this skirt months ago and wanted to buy it but it wasn’t on sale yet. Even though I wanted it, it was that kind of “want” where I was willing to pay full price. Plus I knew it would go on sale soon enough. Fast forward to now, I actually had forgotten about said skirt until I was perusing the clearance racks and came upon it. Not only was it the only one in my size but there was the only black one in my size too. I don’t need to say anything further about it as you see me wearing it and you will see the black one in an upcoming post. Hope you had a great weekend! God Bless!

Sunday: First of all let me start by saying, in no way I’m trying to say that I’m “Perfect” in any way. Not physically, emotionally or spiritually. I believe that no man who has ever walked this Earth is perfect, except for Jesus Christ! So, ever since I saw June Ambrose sporting a Zara jersey dress, I was on a mission to find one. Of course, the one she had was sold out. I actually preferred the one she wore better but when I came upon this little number, no pun intended, lol, it was a must buy. The thing was I only had two options. I could either be a “Perfect 10” or I could be “Gorgeous”. And  so you see which made the cut. Anywho, I thought I would wear it today to kick off the start of football season. Of course I had to put my own swing on things by wearing these bright heels (other colors seen here and here) and a statement necklace. My initial thought was to actually wear it as a dress without pants (but shorts underneath, of course) but I liked this look better. I’m super excited for football season and what my baby (Javar) is going to do on the field this year! Also, got my two nephews doing their things on the football field too. Definitely some God-given talent in the family! Alright, I’m out for now. Until next time, God Bless!
